Annabooks Releases New 2nd Edition Book for Windows 10
IoT Enterprise
Taking a deeper dive into Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
Image Development
Rancho Mirage, Calif., Oct 10, 2022 –
Annabooks is pleased to announce the release of Starter
Guide for Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise, 2nd Edition written
by Sean D. Liming and John R. Malin. Windows® 10 IoT
Enterprise is a special version of Windows 10 designed for
OEMs to build IoT/Embedded Systems. The second edition is
a full re-write of the first edition with a special focus
on the development workflow using System Image Manager to
create custom images.
“I guess I wasn’t done with writing about
Windows IoT/Embedded after all. Reader feedback of the
first edition and many changes to the Windows, afforded me
another opportunity to write a more detailed book”, says
Sean D. Liming, co-author. “This time I have included the
development workflow that I have been evolving since the
days of Windows XP Embedded.”
The second edition has 17 chapters that
cover the development workflow, security, foot print
reduction, updates, and low-speed bus I/O APIs. There are
over 30 hands on exercises scattered throughout the book.
The final chapter pulls all the topics together to walk
through the workflow to create a weather station device
that sends data to Azure IoT Central. Exercise files are
downloadable from the Annabooks website.
The Printed book is priced at $74.95, and
is available on Barns & Noble. The eBook is priced at
$64.95 and is available at AnnabooksOnlineStore.com.
